Description
Live Brine Shrimp are adult Artemia — small, reddish-brown crustaceans about 3/16 in to 1/4 in long, farm-raised in the United States and supplied by Sea Critters. Their natural swimming movement draws a feeding response from fish that ignore prepared foods.

- Mandarinfish and other dragonets
- Finicky marine and freshwater fish being weaned or conditioned

On arrival
Brine shrimp are saltwater animals: keep them cool in aerated salt water, rinse them before feeding, and use them within a few days.
