Scan-to-Cart and Shop Like a Pro

Shopping at Gulfstream Tropical Aquarium is more convenient than ever. With Scan-to-Cart, you can add items directly to your shopping cart for delivery or pickup.

You may also be able to use Scan-to-Cart to reorder items you already have without even coming into our store. Just scan a product and it will add to the cart. Note: Some products may have new barcodes and won’t appear in your cart. In this case, you would have to order manually.

How to use the Scan-To-Cart Feature on your phone

1. No need to download an app.

Open this page and use the camera on your phone to scan the barcode on the product’s packaging to see details like price and availability. Make sure you are logged in otherwise, you will not be able to see prices.

2. What happens after I scan an item?

After scanning a product, you will see a window with the product information. The scanned item can now be added to your cart directly from that window. You can adjust the quantity or remove the item as needed.

3. Does the feature work for all products?

Scan-to-Cart works for most barcoded products in the store. Some items, such as live items or items without barcodes, may need manual input or selection.

4. Can I apply discounts or coupons using Scan-to-Cart?

Yes. If you have digital coupons or rewards, manually add them at checkout, provided the scanned items meet the offer criteria. You cannot scan coupons with this scanner.

5. How do I complete my order?

After scanning all items, review your cart. Proceed to checkout and choose your preferred delivery method: in-store pickup, curbside, or home delivery. 

6. Do I need an internet connection to use Scan-to-Cart?

Yes, a stable internet connection is required to scan items and update your cart in real time.

7. Is the Scan-to-Cart feature free?

The feature is free to use, but you will have to be registered as a Wholesaler and meet Gulfstream Tropical Aquarium’s purchase terms. 

8. What if an item doesn’t scan?

If an item doesn’t scan, ensure the barcode is clean and unobstructed. Try again with better lighting or at a different angle. If it still doesn’t work, manually search for the product using the search field.

9. Am I being recorded? Is my personal information secure?  

No! The camera does not record anything or take pictures. The camera only captures UPC barcodes in real time but does not store any information.
