Telescopically adjustable (depending on the model) intake tube allows you to precisely adjust the length to suit your tank. Adjust the water intake location to the height of the ground in your tank. This will work especially well for unusual aquarium sizes.

Adjust the performance of the filter as you see fit and need. We placed a large, convenient adjustment knob on the top of the housing. It allows you to smoothly adjust the strength at which the filter works. Perfectly match the position of the filter to your tank. This will be taken care of by a convenient round regulator, with which you can precisely set the appropriate level of water spout. Despite the large volume of the filter media container, the housing is slim and does not take up much space. The housing outside the tank is only 7.5 to 9.5 cm thick (depending on the model).
Quiet as a whisper
Aquael designers made sure that the FZN PRO filter operates as quietly as possible. The sound generated by the largest filter in the family is only 32 dB – as quiet as a whisper. Thoughtful design ensures maximum suppression of any noise. This is because the filter outlet is flush with the sheet, so that the outflowing water produces an ear-pleasing murmur. Forget about bubbling or loud overflowing of water. The motor is placed under the water. This gives natural sound insulation, through the soundproofing effect of the water.
All elements of the contact between the housing and the glass are protected by rubber. This lowers the vibration of the working device and eliminates possible knocking or bumping of the filter housing. Â
Linear holes have been added to the top of the housing. This reduces the resonant tube effect inside the unit. At the same time, gas exchange is improved.Â

Don’t want to spend a lot of time handling your aquarium? Take advantage of the simplicity offered by ready-made filter cartridges. In one motion, you will remove the basket* with dedicated cartridges and clean or replace them. Depending on the model of the filter there will be from 1 to 6 openwork trays for filter cartridges: FZN PRO 400 – 1 cardridge; FZN PRO 700 – 2 cardridges; FZN PRO 1000 – 4 cardridges; FZN PRO 1500 – 6 cardridges.
You open the reservoirs and put inside the sachets with the filter media of your choice. You can choose from 3 types of carefully formulated, replaceable cartridges:Media Pack Standard, which provides effective filtration; Media Pack Carbomax, which takes care of crystal clear water; Media Pack Phosmax, which reduces the growth of algae.
You can complete the filtration with filter sponges specially matched to the filter’s dimensions. You can choose sponges for the main tray of the FZN PRO 700, 1000 and 1500 models, as well as a prefilter sponge cartridge.
